Wax is a selection from
the author's book of the same
title published by Coach House
Books in 2003. These poems were
printed letterpress from photopolymer
plates set in 20 pt. Perpetua.
This oversized softcover was
pamphlet sewn at the press and
wrapped in desert Fabriano coverstock
with the title display printed
in burgundy.
The
hardcover edition is lettered
and signed by the author, and
printed on 100% cotton sheets
with ink “slung” by the printer
and poet. The pages are secured
by an open binding with a suede
cover pasted to the black cloth
covered boards. All proceeds
from the sale of this title
were donated to the Rare Book
School, an independent, and
non-profit center for the history
of the book and printing since
1983.
